My 1st catch!

Granted, I am very very exhausted by now ( from the morning shifting of stuff plus waking up early ) but I am soooo... excited!

This morning when I logged into MFO, I wasn't really thinking about catching the pet Battery Man. Nope, I was more on "Time to do dailies."

But after a while, I remembered dear wants a Battery Man ( he told me to catch 3 Baby Bats and a Human pet to get a "Bat 3 Man" =x ) so I was hunting high and low for it. And as I do not have previous experiance in catching pets ( the other pets are all caught by my dear ), naturally I messed up alot on my 1st catching of pet.

At last when I found it, I thought I could solo it but was faced with a few problems ( and all these need the region's ticket to enter the area that I can catch it ).

The difference in color showed how much my temper is rising. By the way

1st try - I forgot to change my pet skill... Ok... Restart.

2nd try - I was dying ( No... I did not use my seahorse but some other character's pet... ) so
restart again...

3rd try- I forgot to remove the necklace of reflect and thus the level 1 Battery Man, after it hit
me,
it died... Restart ( getting a little angry here cos I used 3 tickets already )

4th try - I took 4 characters ( including my seahorse ) to capture it but... Forgotten to chance
skill +
remove necklace... ( Smoke starting to coming out of my ears, nose, mouth etc )

On the 5th try, after I made sure I made no mistake ( by now about 30-40mins has gone by ), I tried to capture it using 1 decoy and 3 catchers. It looks furtile as round after round, my pets are all receiving damage, and the Battery Man seems to be gloating at me!!! Grr...

Then around the 10th round or so, the decoy died. Not much harm, except trying to move my dear's pet and another surviving pet behind my seahorse. Tried like 3-4 rounds before I realised my dear's pet can't be moved. Dotz to the max. So I just moved the other one in between my dear's pet and my seahorse. Still looking furtile by this time and tempted to just kill off that stupid robot that seems to be gloating in my face.

Started to chat with guildmates and somehow we got onto the topic of Pokemon ( cos I asked if causing damage on the Battery Man will make it any easier to capture and they replied it does not work like the way on Pokemon ).

Mind you, by now, I wasn't even paying attention to the mobs in front of me, only in the chatbox. I am dimly aware that my seahorse's life dropped to less than 50% but I still do the same thing before each round starts. Press Bronze capture card skill, aim at Battery Man and repeat for 2 more times and head back to the chat.

Then something finally happened ( and this is like after 1 hour since I first tried to solo it without my other 3 pets )!!! I was looking at the screen, pressed the capture card for the Round 24th but I couldn't locate the Battery Man in the screen O.o!!! Then I was wondering where it ran off to, cos I don't see the robot's "body" on the floor, as it usually would have if I accidently killed it.

So I hurriedly change from one screen's inventory to another, first my own pet's inventory, then my dear's and I finally found it on my 3rd pet's inventory!! Wheee!!! Success!!!

I told my guildmates about it and when they heard its the first time I tried to capture a pet ( and one that appears to be very difficult + time consuming ) they were stunned at first ( one claimed his 1st catch was clover and appeared noob compare to Battery Man's captured ) and congratulate me. Heh, they are being very sweet!

If not for Duckiee and Swy, accompanying me to talk about Pokemon, I would have probably killed the Battery Man out of fit of anger! And they gave me good advices ( like where to go and how to catch and the myth and theories and ways of catching that everyone developes heeheehee ).

So I saved 60-80 gold ( from buying the Battery Man ) and in return, I wasted an hour plus, 83-85 bronze catcher, my temper and one of the pet's life to get this little level 1 robot. Man, catching is tough =x
