Other than feeling seasick ( Yea I am not kidding despite not being on sea, will explain more later ) and giddiness for the past few days, I have a weirdest dream to add to my record of "Weird things that happen to me for this past week" and its only Thursday...
Let's start from Monday then.
Monday ( Pardon the Monday Blue pun ) :
Was feeling pretty ill on Monday, slightly nauceous even before I even do anything. Went to see the doctor and he said I am having indigestion problems and therefore, had lots of 'gas' within my tummy. Gave me 4 medications, 1 for relief of swelling for my horrid cough that seems to last forever, 1 for relief for vommiting, 1 for abdominal cramp ( being in that time of the month ) and the last one which I vowed not to take anytime soon again after having serious consequences of consuming 1, which is laxative. (=.=)
Giving laxative to a person who often suffered from diarrhoea must be a huge joke. One does not need much knowledge to know where I spent most of my Monday at. Bascially, that's how my Monday went by...
Tuesday:
I was still suffering slightly from the effect of the laxative, disregarding the fact that I only took 1 pill in less than 24 hours before. But managed to reach work in time.
Tuesday at work seemed peaceful ( Almost dozed off during one of the meetings... Opps... ) and my tummy still pretty much in cooperation with me.
Just when I thought all was well, heavy rain struck. Not that I hate the rain but its what about to happen that left a bad taste in my mouth ( in more than 1 way ).
When taking bus home, the rain was so heavy that part of the bus route was flooded. Here comes the weird/funny part. I got seasick. Yup, I am not kidding. I got seasick on the bus that's moving through the flooded area. My vision seems to waver left and right, as if I am on a boat and I almost wanted to hurl.
It didn't get better when I got down the bus interchange to take another bus home. Met my brother who jokingly said "You can always hurl in front of you" The person who was sitting directly in front of me, face-to-face, was giving me a shocked look and seemed to want nothing more than alight the bus everytime I moaned I wanted to throw up. If I wasn't feeling so ill back then, I might probably be laughing at the hilarious shocked look on his face.
After alighting the bus, I still wasn't back to normal, and if anything, felt even worst. Took the medication ( with little or no effect ) and moaning while laying on the bed. After sometime, I finally dragged my seasick body to the bathroom and washed up. Felt a little better and by the time dear arrived, I am able to move about a little better.
Wednesday:
Woke up with the sense of nauceous still sticking to me like glue and barely able to make it to work cos of tummy pain. But at least I have worked to keep me busy till afternoon where they have this celebration for Chinese New Year that basically took like half of the afternoon away ( not complaining much except I am still not feeling well... )
Especially when the celebration was held in a non air-conditional area and the hot afternoon sun was beating down on everyone's back. Queue up the wrong side for food and waiting for the whole thing to end. Gotten a bad orange ( thankfully I am not an orange lover ) and thought was able to head home to nurse my already sick health.
End up I had to do a few more stuff before I can head home...
Thursday:
Like I mentioned before, woke up with a weird dream. Dreamt I was back in the place in Ang Mo Kio that I used to live ( on the other hand, it did not look exactly the same either ) .
In the dream I was running late for exam ( Was hoping to cramp in some study time before reaching the exam hall ) and was trying to decide if I want to take bus or cab to my exam hall. Saw my brother walking towards me and I asked what he's going to take. He replied that he's going to take the bus and he ran across the road and disappear through the blocks of HDB flats.
All the sudden, there's a huge crowd surrounding me, all seemed to be waiting for cab as well. When I tried to flag a cab, they tried to do the same thing, but none of the cabs seems to be willing to stop.
In the end I gave up and lugged my heavy backpack ( I have no~ idea why is the backpack so freaking heavy and why I am carry such a huge bag ) across the road in hope to catch up to my brother. Apparently the crowd had the same idea and it became a sort of race.
After crossing the road and the first few blocks of HDBs, there came a little hill of sands in the middle of the carpark. I tried to climb up but due to the heavy weight of the backpack, I was unable to get a good grip and kept on sliding back to the floor. I gave up and tried to run round the hill of sands instead.
There follow by another steep cement slope. By then my arms and legs are aching from the heavy weight but still I held on the iron railings at the side and tried to pull myself up. Sheesh... What a tiring dream this turns out to be... Somewhere between this "race", I found myself thinking "Why didn't I follow Ken ( my brother ) when I had the chance to?? At least I will have someone to help me with this bag... And now I not only have to worry about not able to finish studying for the exam, I have to worry about not reaching at all!!!"
Weird dreams eh? There's more. After I woke up ( it was 7am ) and head back to bed, I dreamt I was at a shopping area in the old Ang Mo Kio Central. Then I realised I have to go to a party but the only shoes I had on were the white BATA lookalike shoes that I only wear at work!
Strange isn't it? Since in the dream I am already in a pretty gown and so on. Then I went on a frantic craze trying to buy a pair of decent looking shoes. And just when I found a couple of the heels ( in Courts at that, isn't it weird? Courts only sell furnitures in real life! OMG~ Crazy dream... ) guess what? They cost like 3700 pounds or more. =.=" That is like almost 8k SGD or more lol!!!
After that I sort of woke up... Who can sleep through with such dreams?
Right now feeling so... dead tired plus a little bit of sore throat and nauceous feeling. But I can't go home immediately for I made plans with Ying already... Pray for the weekends to come by soon... Not sure if I can withstand till then...
