Opps... Snow ( Part 5 )

I just realised that I am forgetting about my story thingy... With so much things going on, naturally I'd forget about it ( Blame it on my laziness as well heh heh... ) but to be frank, I really forgetting most part of it... That's why I stopped for such a long time ( despite I already had the rough draft of the dream written down but its not enough to make into a long story ).

Well... What you will be reading now is not just purely from my dreams, but partly from my imagination, bear with me if the story sucks =x

Saturday rolled by and Snow met Karina at a train station nearby the beauty centre.
"Wow you look extremely gorgeous~" Snow teased Karina as she approached her.
"Stop joking... And you are late! Do I really look pretty?" Karina smoothed her hair and looked at Snow.
"Yup, very!" Snow grinned, and wondered when was the last time she seen her cool and mature friend looking so insecure about her looks.
"Do you think he's there?" Karina asked as they started walking towards the centre.
"Well... If he's not, we can always come back again..."
"Really?! You are the best!"
"Or... You can ask his mother for his phone number."
"You...!" Karina started tickling Snow, sending her into peals of laughter.
"Ok ok, stop! I surrender! Trunce!" Snow gasped between laughter. Karina stopped and the girls looked at each other and dissolved into another round of giggles before walking to their destination.
"Ah... Here we are!" Snow exclaimed, with Karina walking behind.
"Is he here?"
"Why don't you look for him yourself?"
"C'mon, help me take a look... Pretty please?"
"Hi, may I help you ladies?"
The two girls almost jumped out of their skin when they heard a male voice talking to them. Karina's heart beat faster than ever when she saw the owner of the voice.
"H... hi..." Karina whispered, feeling her face flushed from both excitment and a little embarrasement.
"Oh its you...! I mean... Hi Snow, hi Kari...na?"
"Wow, you remembered us" Snow replied, feeling a little impressed.
"Haha yea, who can forget pretty ladies?" Gareth replied while looking at Snow. "Can I help you ladies with anything?"
"Erm... Erm... Actually..." Karina stammered, wishing to kick herself for acting like a dummy in front of Gareth.
"Actually yes! You can! You see, Karina has this project about... Urm... Sort of like questionair survey thingy, and she will be so grateful if you can help her like answering in a male point of view?" Snow went over to Karina and gave her a wink that only Karina can see.
"Y..Yes! Yea, I'm hoping you may help... The deadline is tomorrow and..." Karina trailed off, secretly grateful to Snow's fast reaction.
"Haha, sure sure, just let me informed my mom ( he tilted his head towards the centre ) and we can go to Starbucks to talk?"
"Ok!" Karina could not believe her luck as she watched Gareth disappeared through the doors.
"Thank you so much Snow! I can't believe how lucky we are!" Karina grabbed her friend's hands gratefully.
"That's what I am here for! Later I make some sort of excuse to leave you two alone ok?"
"That will be great!"

"Thanks for helping me, what will you like to drink? I'll treat since you are so kind to help me out, Snow, you want anything?"

"It's ok Karina, I don't need anything."

"What sort of man allows a lady to pay? Let me buy you a drink. What do you want?" Gareth stood up and insisted Karina to sit down.

"But..." Karina protested.

"Just let me get you the drink" Gareth insisted again.

"Ok then... I will have ice latte then... Thanks..."

"K, one ice latte coming up!"

As Gareth headed to the counter, Karina moved closer to Snow.

"Isn't he such a gentleman?" Karina asked, looking dreamily at Gareth.

"Haha... Someone is smitten over here~" Snow teased. Just then, Karina's handphone rang.

"Hello?... What...? Now...? Can't it wait till later or something...? Kk... I'll come now..."

"What's wrong?" Snow asked a dejected looking Karina.

"Here's your ice latte" Gareth placed the cup in front of Karina and sat down with his drink across Snow.

"Sorry guys... I need to go, my father wanted me to run an important errand for him..."

"What about your survey?"

"Want me to come with you?"

Gareth and Snow asked at the same time and Karina looked amused.

"It's ok, Snow will help me with the 'survey' then"

"What?!" Snow gave an incredulous look to Karina.

"Please? Help me see what are his likes and dislikes and so on..." Karina whispered in her best friend's ear.

"Just this once..." Snow agreed reluctantly.

"K, then I gotta run! I am late! Thanks again Gareth!"

"Cya Karina..." Gareth and Snow said in unison.

Hmm... The story is starting to get a little draggy but can't be help... I need to work on something now so you guys have to wait till a later date before I continue then! Till then, have fun and take care all~
