"Karina~ Yoohoo~ Karina~? Earth to Kaaaariiiinnnaaa~!!!" Snow waved her hands in front of Karina, jolting Karina out of her thoughts.
"Huh? Oh hi Snow, what's up?" Karina mentally wiped the dreamy look off her face and faced Snow.
"Here I am, trying to get your attention for the past few minutes and you are telling me you haven't listen to a word I am saying?" Snow placed her hands on her hips in mock anger before a smile creeped up her face.
"C'mon, 'fess up! You are thinking of a certain guy... By the name of... Gilbert? Gary? Gabriel? Grayson~?" Snow teased and pacing in front of her friend, pretending to recall the certain name.
"Aww, you know his name is Gareth... Opps..." Watching Karina's face turning crimsom red only made Snow's smile even bigger.
"Ah ha! I knew it! You didn't ask me to accompany you to that beauty palor just for treatment. Share the juicy details~ Where and when did you meet him hmm?? How did you know he would be there~?" Snow gleefully bounced up and down on the balls of her feet. Karina dragged Snow to a table nearby before Snow attracted more curious stares from the nearby strangers.
"Sit down or else I won't say a word... And lower your volume!!! You are embarrassing me!" Throughly red in the face now, Karina fumbled in her bag as if looking for something, wishing profusely that the blood stopped rushing to her face and trying to calm down her thumping heart.
"Kk~ Hee hee... So, where did you first met him?" Snow edged closer to Karina, not wanting to miss out anything that Karina had to say, or rather, mumbled.
"Same place as we met him..." Karina drifted off in thoughts again.
It was just another Saturday and Karina grudgingly agreed to accompany her mother to the beauty centre.
"Can't believe I am waking up like wayyyy before 10am when I could have slept in late till 12pm on a Saturday..." Karina grumbled for the umpteen times as she sank down into one of the more comfy looking sofa in the beauty centre.
"Yes my dear, I know you are being a darling and I promised you to go shopping after this, so be a sweetheart and try to make the best out of this ok honey?" Karina's mother turned to pacify her beloved daughter before instructing the lady at the counter to make things snappy.
"Yeah yeah, whatever..." Karina turned out to face the window, pondering again why had she agreed to come.
Just then, she heard a jingling of sound at the door but did not turn around till she heard a cheerful male voice saying "I am done! Anything else you needed me to help with mom? If not I will head out to meet my friends now."
Karina turned to see whose voice it belongs to and suddenly at that instant, she learnt what was the meaning of love at first sight.
An athletic build guy and a heart melting smile, Karina knew she was smittened by his cute boyish charm. She sat up, looked at her dress and tried to straighten the wrinkles on her dress that did not seem to appear till a second ago while having an internal conflict within herself, for one part of her was hoping that the guy would look at her and yet the other part of her felt shy and wondered what she should say to him if he did came over to say hi???
But another voice interrupted her thoughts before she could think any further.
"I am fine here son, go ahead then, don't be late for dinner for tonight."
"K mom, cya later~!" By the time Karina looked up again, there was another jingling sound and all she saw was the back of the guy of her dream running away from her...

K, that's all for today, I am getting a serious headache. As this dream had already happened so long ago, my memory for it is starting to fade, though the skeleton of the dream is still somewhere within me. For the later part of the story, I might add in more things, might not be from the dream anymore but rather, from my own imagination.
Haha... Half of me hoped to finish the story fast and yet, the other part of me just want to take it slow =p
