"Favor?" Snow sat up straighter on her bed and pressed her ear against the phone. Snow had not seen Karina for ages and to have her asking for favor was pretty much unlike her.
"Umm... Yes... You see, I got these buy one get another free voucher for some facial treatment thing from my mother but no one else seems free to go with me..." Karina trailed off, hoping Snow was not offended that she was not her first choice to go out for the treatment and hoping that Snow did not realised there was more than just facial treatment.
"Sure, sounds like fun, when?" Snow was just delighted being able to go out and meet Karina again.
"How about this weekend?" Karina was pretty relieved that Snow was too dense or naive to catch up on what she was thinking.
"Ok, update me on the time and location. I need to have my dinner now, mum's yelling..."
"K, will do. Take care!" With that Karina hang up the phone and sighed with relief...

"Karina! Over here!" Karina turned and saw Snow dressing in her usual comfortable but casual outfit and put on a smile before heading towards Snow.
"Hi Snow!"
"Woah! Why are you so dressed up for?" Snow walked around Karina, taking in her pretty, low cut black chiffon dress matched with a beautiful strappy heels.
"Ah... Nothing much, just went out with my mother... So let's go?" Trying to distract Snow, Karina tugged her towards the direction of the beauty centre.
"Hi, I am Karina, we had spoken on the phone this morning. I made a reservation for 2 at 10am?" Karina looked at the beautician behind the counter but the lady seemed too absorbed in playing her DS.
"Oh you are playing Cooking Mama 3!" Snow peered around and the lady immediately hid the DS, embarrassed by the loud exclaimation from Snow.
"Yes, may I help you?" The lady spoke with much annoyance.
Karina wrote her name on a piece of paper nearby and handed to the lady. "I spoke to you this morning? My reservation?"
"Ah yes... Please give me a moment. Take a seat over there in the meantime." The lady pointed to a bunch of comfy looking sofa and went into the back room.
Snow and Karina were giggling at the reaction of the lady when a guy walked in. Snow noticed Karina suddenly sat up and brushing the front of her dress while her vision darted to and away from the guy.
"Hmm... I think I saw the main reason for coming here..." Snow whispered softly in Karina's ear.
"Shhh!" Karina tried to cover Snow's mouth but accidently knocked over a glass of soft drink left on the table.
"Aiks!" Both girls jumped up and frantically tried cleaning up the table.
"Here, let me helped." The guy came over with tissue and mopped off the liquid.
"Err... Thanks for your help..." Karina started while Snow kept on giggling.
"How rude of me, I forget to introduce myself. Hi I am Gareth."
"Hi, I am Karina and this is Snow."
"Hi, I am Karina and this is Snow."
"Hi Karina, hello Snow." Karina thought Gareth might have emphasized on the last two words but decided maybe she was oversensitive.
"Karina, I think we better head back first, look at your clothes, its in a mess..."
"Oh!" Karina just noticed some of the liquid had splashed onto her expensive dress and started wiping it.
"C'mon, let's go before your dress is ruined!" Snow dragged Karina out, but Karina noticed nothing else except the eyes of Gareth looking at her direction...

Hmm... Feel like I am still not very good at writing this yet. Don't have enough emotions nor effort placed in writing this piece of story.
Ah well... Hopefully I might get into the mood of writing it the next time.
