Halloween eve spent at Night Safari!

It was definately one spooky day though it seemed harmlessly enough during the morning/ afternoon where I spent my day playing games.

Around near 5pm, Ray dear and me started to get ready ( nope, we were not dressing in costume or anything ) and headed down to Causeway Point, hoping to catch a bus to Night Safari but upon arrival, we were pretty much disappointed and took a cab down instead.

Upon reaching ( after facing an incredible rude cabby, he purposely switched to classical music loudly, when dear and me were having a conversation ) Night Safari, well, we were kept on our toes alright.

Aside from searching for dear's friends, we had to keep a look out for potential "ghosts".

First we saw a " Scarecrow", basically its someone wearing green tight pants and gunny sacks on its upper body and over his/her head, leaning against a pillar. Looks like a dummy till someone innocently walked past and it would suddenly lurched forward.

We had walked a little distance away from "it" while observing for a few moments and our decision to observe was right for "it" sprang onto some unknown gal and she was screaming along with her friends.

After that we saw zombies, a clown with a fake bloody knife, a guy wearing chinese wedding costume carrying a paper doll bride and lots more.

But we couldn't find dear's friends till he called and realised that they headed to KFC.

Lots of screams can be heard throughout the time we were there.

Ray got interested in the multi color skull lanyard and those light up horns. He said the blue horns look like deviruichi ( a monster from RO ) and wanted me to wear it. Told him I need a pitch fork to look like one, and a huge pitch fork it must be =x

We saw his friends soon after, Chibi, Jowell, Wei Hong, Jing Yee, Bernard, Kenny and Hui. Ray chatted with the rest before heading out to buy the skull with Bernard.

I tagged along for I want to see if I can spot anything nice.

As we were looking around the merchandise, I was pretty engrossed in whatever that's in the basket ( to my disappointment there's no blue lighted horn ) and playing with a rubber skull in my hand.

After a while I noticed with a fright there's a guy dressing in green silky ancient chinese clothes with long tongue trying to scare a kid just a few steps away from me.

Ray said that "ghost" had been trying to scare me for a while but I was having fun with the skull for so long that he gave up and went to scare the kid. =x Poor ghost.

Headed back and listened to some strange coincident tales that Jing Yee and Hui had encountered a few hours back. Might talk about it if I am in the mood to.

As we headed to the washroom, I saw a Kachang Pu tei man! But turns out he's not and just another worker acting like a zombie, selling fake foot and rubber insects etc... Urgh... Then another guy with long tongue, this time in white silky outfit, chasing after other people to scare them.

When we finally enter Night Safari, we had a few funny incident. First ghost we saw was a girl in pink dress but half of her face looked rotted. Another one sat on the wheelchair and tried to pounce on us, but we just laughed.

Then we came to a stall that sell things 1 for $8 and 2 for $10 heehee...

Tadah! I got my little blue horns here.

Ray's rubber skull lanyard with flash on.

Photobucket

Without flash, glowing in yellow.

We were queuing for the haunted house first but its 2 hours long! ( I think we took lesser time than that ).

Er... Who's that heading towards us?

Photobucket

Taking a closer look...

Photobucket

Lol... totally can't see her face at all... Looks like someone need to wash her hair =x There's another worker following this gal around or else no one can see her, it was that dark.

Photobucket

This fella had me frightened everytime he hits that stupid gong. Purposely hit it when people less expects it and its extremely loud. Everytime he hits the gong some gals would be shouting. Too bad I always saw him first so he couldn't sneak up to me =p

Photobucket

Floating demon horns~! Just kidding =p

Here comes the most horrifying sign that I saw for that night!!!!

Photobucket

Wait for 1 hour 30 mins from here!!! NO!!!!!

Photobucket

Cute little sign, but the queue was long and I was bored. Suddenly mist appeared from nowhere ( kk, someone must have sprayed it ) and it was horrid smelling.

Photobucket

See? Can't even take a clear picture... Was aiming at the long queue ahead.

Photobucket

My little blue horn with Ray's skull glowing in blue hahaha...

Photobucket

Aiming at crowd again~

Photobucket

Gui mansion! Lots of people screaming before heading in, I didn't know why at first, but after ward I knew...

Photobucket

Heh.. Actually this was 2D but somehow the way I photographed it, makes it look like someone's there~

Photobucket

Random tombstones we took plus lots of old lanterns...

Photobucket

The sign board of the mansion.

Photobucket

More tombstone.

What annoys me was some idiot was smoking while we were there queueing and its suppose to be smoke free. Wish I had taken a pic of him and give it to the worker there to kick him out!

After much waiting and playing with astronomy stuff on iphone, we finally reached! As we were busy taking pictures ( somehow I became the last person ) and sensed someone leaning his/her head very close to mine. I turned and saw a guy with white face and painted on fake blood drips from his eyes.

"Oh, hi" I replied and asked my dear to look at him.

Hahahaha poor fella, he must have done better job at making others scream but our group just said hi. Then he just montioned us and said "Folllooowwww meeee...." in a creepy voice.

Before we even reached the curtains, the guys were already screaming, for fun =x

Basically from what I remembered, there were a few places with strong air blowing in your face, a couple of ghost trying to scare me from behind but my hair was in such a mess I could only said hi in annoyance rather than frightened. I remembered seeing an "old lady" squating on the floor, Kenny pretending to scream in fear ( but can hear the laughter in his scream ) and my dear pretend to scream but end up laughing, some white clown lurched from a hidden wall, mops from above swiping at our heads ( making me looking more like Sadako at the end of it and more scary than the workers cos I had the skull around my neck and lighted up my face like a ghost ).

Oh and a guy sitting at some barber chair, suddenly leaped up at us and saw he was sitting on a brown skeleton with blood all over, someone told me he had a bloody fake chopper in his hands, a lady smacking a wooden clog at a supposed toilet but I think she knew I was finding it noisy ( had my hand covering my right ear ) and she stopped.

The final room had 2 rows of mannequins and some hidden workers to scare us. After that we took a picture and headed out where there were stalls selling huge injection tubes with red color liquid, plunged into ice.

Photobucket

Our next destination was the tram ride. Pretty fun and saw several animals including a tapir laying so close that you can almost touch it. But we also had a lot of "ghosts" and "zombies" trying to scare us and "get on board".

Photobucket

Our tickets! But at $50 a ticket is pretty steep...

Headed to the scary trail after that but right now getting too lazy to go in detail...

Photobucket

A last photo I took before we left. Hee... The scarecrow no longer around...

That's all for now~!
